STAY
The Sit-Stay cue teaches a dog to stay in a position and remain in it until her owner gives the Release cue. Developing a reliable stay with your dog will give you hands free control. and it teach your dog to be patient
Practicing the Stay cue

1. Have 5 treats in your hand and put them behind your back
2. Stand in front of your dog
3. Say sit or down to get your dog into the desired position
4. Say stay, and raise your hand so that your palm is facing your dog’s face
5. When your dog stays for 1 second, say good and give one treat. Keep your palm in the stay signal, and repeat until all treats are gone.
6. Say ok to release your dog from stay (do not give a treat after you release him from stay, the release is the reward.)
Gradually increase time
first make sure your dog can stay next to you without you moving till you can count to 30sec

Gradually increase distance
next start adding distance by moving one step back from your dog and coming back to reword him

Gradually increase the amount of distractions
adding distraction can be anything like trowing a ball, jumping in front of your dog
IF YOU’R DOG BREAKS FROM THE SIT/STAY, SIMPLEY LURE HIM INTO A SIT POSITION AND START AGAIN
