ABOUT AMIR
Understanding Dogs. Helping People.
Building Better Relationships.
My journey with dogs began in 2009 while working at a dog daycare in Denver, Colorado.
Spending every day managing and observing large groups of dogs taught me something that has shaped the way I train ever since: every behavior has a reason.
I became fascinated by the way dogs communicate — their body language, their relationships with other dogs, what motivates them, and why they make the choices they do.
I wanted to understand more than just how to teach a dog commands. I wanted to understand how dogs learn and communicate.
In 2010, I moved to Los Angeles and studied Dog Training and Dog Behavior at Animal Behavior College. While studying, I continued gaining hands-on experience working in dog daycares and leading group training classes with dogs and their owners.
In 2011, I founded Amir Dog Training.
Since then, my goal has remained simple:
Help people understand their dogs better.
I believe successful dog training isn’t about controlling your dog or expecting perfection. It’s about communication, consistency, trust, and showing your dog what you want in a way they can understand.
Using positive reinforcement and real-world training, I help owners build better communication with their dogs while addressing the behaviors that can make everyday life challenging.
Whether we’re working on leash walking, puppy training, behavior issues, or simply creating better communication at home, I want you to understand why we’re doing something — not just what to do.
Because when you understand your dog, training becomes more than commands.
It becomes a relationship.
Dogs have been my passion for more than 15 years, but helping owners create a better relationship with their dogs is what makes this work meaningful to me.
I look forward to meeting you — and, of course, your dog.
